Custom Scarves Now Available For Pre-Order
In 2024, the Fire will return to being the Men In Red for the first time since their return to Soldier Field. To celebrate, we’re launching our first-ever merchandise, a custom scarf to be made for us by Ruffneck Scarves, who produce many of the higher-quality scarves you’ve seen, including ones sold by MLS teams, U.S. Soccer and the NHL.
This two-sided scarf design proudly says "BACK IN RED" on one side with "MEN IN RED" and the year on the other, using the typeface Chicago Shift – an updated take on a classic sports theme.
This scarf is currently available for pre-order and will be a limited edition, and we hope that a new scarf design becomes an annual tradition for MenInRed97. Ordering now – which you can do at this link – will ensure that you get a scarf as soon as they’re available, which should be in January given the production timeline from the manufacturer. Each scarf is just $35 with a flat-rate $5 shipping fee.
We’re keeping pre-orders open through November 24, so while there are still a few days left to order, make sure to purchase before the pre-order period closes to ensure that you get one.
The scarves are being produced in Ruffneck’s HD Jacquard knit – they are a thick, heavier-weight scarf made of 100% high-quality acrylic fabric, great for early season games when it’s chilly or just getting through a Chicago winter, but with a thinner-gauged thread and tight knit enabling more detail than what is available with a traditional knit. Many on the MenInRed97 team own a lot of Ruffneck scarves and we’ve found them to be durable, beautiful ways to show our fandoms. The scarf you’re ordering, with a custom design from Jack King, our Creative Director, will look fantastic.
