L.A. Galaxy vs. Chicago Fire: Availability Report and How To Watch
Coming into tonight’s match, both teams have lost their last three matches. While the Fire currently sit in ninth position and in solid contention for a playoff spot, the Galaxy sit adrift at 13th in the west. The Californian side are currently nine points behind eighth and ninth position and have certainly a lot of ground to cover if they want to have any chance at making this year’s playoffs.
The Fire should certainly see this match as a must win if they are to be serious contenders to make a postseason appearance. It is crucial that the team returns to winning ways and to the form that they had been enjoying prior to the Leagues Cup.
In terms of availability for the Chicago Fire, Javi Casas and Chris Mueller remained sidelined through injury, while Mauricio Pineda’s suspension rules him out of tonight’s match.
For the L.A. Galaxy, Gastón Brugman, Martin Cáceres, and former Manchester United, West Ham, and Sevilla striker, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez are all unavailable.
