It was a rough outing for the Fire as they were battered 3-0 by Nashville. Luckily for the Fire, however, they were saved from further humiliation by 19-year-old goalkeeper Chris Brady.

Although Nashville found the back of the night three times on the night, Brady was beaten twice by unstoppable strikes from the penalty spot and from a rebound where he initially made a great stop. On top of all of that, he made an additional six saves on the night and was certainly a bright light from an otherwise uninspiring Fire side that gave up nearly five expected goals.
